Terms of service

The terms and conditions (TOS) described below apply to all account holders, visitors and customers of Outbox and all the products available through the website. By shopping with Outbox, you agree to be bound by these terms, so please read this Agreement carefully before shopping with us.

Outbox has the sole discretion to change or replace any part of this agreement You are responsible for periodically checking this agreement for any changes. Any new Service additions or enhancements are subject to these Terms of Service. You consent to any such changes by continuing to shop with Outbox.

We reserve the right to terminate your account and business relationship if you violate any of the terms described below.

Account Terms:

  • If you have signed up for an account at our online store, you are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You must notify us of any security breach as soon as possible. Outbox will not be liable for any loss or damage if you fail to comply with this security obligation.
  • You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
  • Only the person under whose name the account was created can use the account to shop from Outbox. If we believe your account is being used by another person or legal entity to shop from Outbox or that you are using your account to shop on behalf of another person, your account will be immediately terminated. Exceptions may apply to approved businesses or freelancers such as an interior design firm or a freelance interior designer or architects.

    Copyright & Content Ownership:

    • The Outbox team personally designs and owns a CAD version of each item displayed throughout the store.
    • All texts, images and pieces of information published on this website are governed by the copyright of its respective source. Duplication, distribution or public reproduction may only be carried out with the written formal authorization of Outbox or its respective source, otherwise preventive measures will be taken to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. 
    • The provider assumes no responsibility for the online contents that are linked through the use of cross-references (links), since the situation in question does not involve in-house contents. The linked sites were checked for illegal contents, and no such contents were discernible when the link was set up. The operators of the linked sites are responsible for their contents. In this regard, Outbox is not subject to any general obligation to monitor or check. However, if a violation of the law becomes known, the respective link will promptly be removed.

    Delivery terms:

    We provide an estimated delivery time for every item on our website. The estimate is usually found on the product page of each item, right below the price.

    Our default agreed upon delivery date is within 2 weeks. This lead time is often communicated outside our website, on WhatsApp, Instagram, during a phone call or during a live discussion in our showroom.

    Our team works hard to respect the above timelines, however, as we live during times of extreme uncertainty, our communicated delivery dates may not always be accurate. External factors that are out of Outbox’s control are highly likely to affect the delivery of your order. External factors may include but are not limited to:

    • COVID-19 lockdowns and measures including reduced working capacities
    • Roadblocks due to deteriorating economic conditions
    • Economic uncertainty

    Outbox does not have any direct control over any of the above external factors that will delay the delivery date of your order. Moreover, Outbox cannot predict the occurrence of any of the above external factors and may not be able to notify customers beforehand. 

    Outbox cannot be blamed for delays caused by external factors in which Outbox does not have direct control.

    Orders affected by external factors cannot be cancelled, partially refunded or totally refunded.

     

    Payments:

    Our default and only payment method is cash on delivery, either LBP or USD.

    LBP Payments:
    You can select to have our  items priced in LBP while browsing our website by using the currency selector at the bottom right of the page or next to the price tag in the product page. If you’re browsing our website from Lebanon, prices will automatically be shown in LBP by default.

    While prices are displayed in LBP, you will checkout in USD at the USD rate shown in the checkout process. Your USD rate will be locked and cannot be changed* afterwards whether the market rate increases or decreases.  

    IMPORTANT:*

    In the exception that the USD rate increases or decreases by 1,000LBP/$ during the fulfillment time  of your order, the USD rate of your order will be reset by a new USD rate assigned by Outbox and you will be notified by our team. In this case, your order will be put on hold until we get a written or verbal confirmation on the new rate from the customer.

    USD Payments:

    You can choose to pay in USD by notifying us after you place your order or a few days prior to delivery. Our couriers or drivers will collect your payment in USD and in case change is needed, it will be provided in USD too.

    We do not accept cheques or payment cards at any amount.
