Velvet

The composition is built piece by piece. Individual fabric sections are cut and placed by hand, allowing their raw edges and natural texture to remain visible. These fragments are then carefully arranged and secured onto the canvas, forming a layered textile relief that gives the artwork depth and dimension. The olive tone is applied consistently across the surface, allowing the subtle variations of the fabric and the shadows between layers to become the true focus of the piece.
